It wasn’t just a passing desire, but a decision to change. When I joined the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, I knew that the path would require a high level of discipline. I invested more than 700 hours of self-study and online learning, during which I delved into the depths of different programming languages and understood how systems are built from scratch.
Insight: Self-learning is not just about accumulating information, but training your mind to solve complex problems.
2. The turning point: cybersecurity and working at STC
The real sense of achievement began when I applied what I had learned in a real and large work environment such as Saudi Telecom Company (STC). Working remotely was not an obstacle, but rather a test of my time management and commitment skills.
During this period, I obtained a specialised certificate in Cybersecurity Incident Response Analysis, where I delved into:

Today’s world is open to anyone with the will to learn. Platforms such as Coursera and others put the world’s most prestigious degrees at your fingertips, with flexible hours.
Don’t use time as an excuse: work and commitments are always there, but investing in yourself is what will make a difference in your future.
